Testimony Has Arrived

Car 01 is home. Testimony's arrival in North Carolina marks the beginning of the next phase for Iron Faith Racing. Here's why we chose the car, how we plan to develop it, and what comes next.

Testimony Has Arrived

Car 01 is home. Now the work begins.

Iron Faith Racing officially has its first development car.

Testimony, our 2014 Ford Mustang GT, has completed the trip from Arizona to North Carolina and is now home with the team.

For us, its arrival represents more than adding a race car to the garage. It marks the point where an idea begins becoming a real racing program.

WHY TESTIMONY

We didn't set out looking for the fastest car we could buy.

We wanted a capable platform that would allow our driver, our team and the car itself to develop together.

Testimony gives us that foundation.

The car already has serious hardware—a built Gen 1 Coyote, single turbo, built 6R80 transmission, upgraded fuel system, suspension and drivetrain components—but our plan isn't to immediately use everything the car is capable of delivering.

We're taking a different approach.

Learn the car. Develop the driver. Build the team. Earn the next step.

DEVELOPMENT BEFORE NUMBERS

There will always be a faster number to chase in drag racing.

That's why our first objective isn't an ET.

Before we begin pushing performance, we want to understand the car, establish safe and repeatable procedures, develop our driver and learn how to operate effectively as a team.

Our early passes will establish a baseline. From there, we'll progressively increase performance only when the driver, car and team are ready.

There are long-term goals for Testimony, but we're much more interested in how we get there than how quickly we can say we did it.

WHAT COMES NEXT

With Testimony home, our attention now turns to preparation.

We'll be working through the car from front to back, evaluating its current configuration, addressing safety requirements, establishing our maintenance and operating procedures and preparing for the first testing sessions.

We'll share that process here—including the decisions that work, the lessons we learn and the changes we make along the way.

The goal isn't simply to show the finished result.

We want to document what it takes to build the program.
